A batch of rain is moving through early this morning. Expect a break for the late morning hours before rain and storms develop out ahead of a cold front. Some of these storms could be strong to severe this afternoon into tonight. Behind the front, this weekend will be much colder with highs in the 50s and a few showers lingering into Mother's Day.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy with showers and storms. High: 75

TONIGHT: Rain and storms before midnight. Then, cooler with a few showers. Low: 51

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and colder with a few showers. High: 58

Rocky River recycling update

The City of Rocky River and the Green Team are pleased to announce that our blue bag recycling program can now include plastic bottles, jugs and food containers with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 inside the recycling symbol on the bottom of the container.

Saliva can clean dirty pacifiers and reduce allergy risks

Parents use a variety of methods to clean a baby’s pacifier: rising it in tap water, boiling it, or putting it in their own mouth and sucking on it before giving it back to the baby. According to a new study, parents who “clean” their child’s pacifier by sucking on it can also protect their infant from developing allergies.
