Co-founder of Priceline.com will speak in Cleveland | Business
The Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA) has announced that Jeff Hoffman, co-founder of the Priceline.com family of companies will deliver the keynote address at the "NEOSA Forum" during Tech Week on Tuesday, April 17, 2013.
"We're excited to have a technology entrepreneur of the caliber of Jeff Hoffman come to town and share his thoughts and experiences with our audience," said Brad Nellis, Director of NEOSA. "Jeff's background is amazing with multiple, successful tech starts including several that he took public."
A serial entrepreneur and internationally recognized innovator, Hoffman has been a founder and CEO in a number of startups and high growth companies, including Priceline.com, uBid.com, and ColorJar. He writes a regular column on innovation and entrepreneurship for Inc. Magazine, and works with the White House, the Executive Office of the President, and the US State Department, to support business and economic growth initiatives all over the world.
Hoffman serves as the Chief Innovation Fellow to the Cleveland Clinic, one of the world's top-rated medical research facilities, as well as serving on the international advisory boards of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the Kauffman Foundation, the APEC Startup Initiative (21 member nations), JumpStart, and the US State Department's GIST program (Global Innovation through Science and Technology).
Hoffman's presentation will also be simulcast to area colleges and universities, particularly into those school's computer science and entrepreneurship programs.
