Fairview Park City Hall is pleased to welcome the newest auxiliary police officer to the City's safety forces: Matt Kaczmarek.
Auxiliary police officers assist our community and departments in non-enforcement and non-hazardous duties, and are called upon to supplement police work as needed.
Although they do not perform duties that require force, they take part in other police work that preserves peace and order, prevents crime, and protects life and property, as instructed by the department.
Members of the Fairview Park Auxiliary Police Unit volunteered nearly 3,500 hours of service to the community in 2012.Top performers included: Joe Pasini with 620 hours, Rob Fraser with 421 hours, Henry Chaski with 376 hours, Mike Kuczeryn with 356 hours, and Erik Joyce with 345 hours.
The auxiliary police are under the leadership of Lt Erich Upperman and Auxiliary Lt Mike Thomas.
