Fairview School Treasurer resigns | Schools
Fairview Park City School District Treasurer/CFO, Ryan Ghizzoni has announced his resignation from the district, effective September 1. Ghizzoni, who has been with the Fairview Park City Schools since 2007, has recently accepted the position of Treasurer with the Berea City School District.
"Mr. Ghizzoni's technical skills and relentless commitment to our students has helped propel our district into the 21st Century," said FPCS Superintendent, Brion Deitsch. "Because of his efforts, we have been able to provide our students with the resources necessary for achievement. We wish him nothing but continued success."
Some of Ghizzoni's accomplishments with FPCS include the implementation of a cashless system, the development of a financial oversight committee, electronic timekeeping and cost recovery software system.
"On behalf of the Fairview Park Board of Education, I'd like to thank Mr. Ghizzoni for his service to this district," said Board President Joe Shucofsky. "We wish him all the best on this new chapter in his career, and look forward to conducting a thorough search to find a skilled and qualified replacement."
The Fairview Park City School's Board of Education will formally accept Ghizzoni's resignation during the August 20 board meeting.
The Board is expected to conduct a search with the Ohio Association of School Business Officials to fill the Treasurer position.
