Fairview Park schools schedule change | Schools

Fairview Park parents and students should expect to see some minor changes in the middle school and high school schedule next school year.  School will begin at 7:40 a.m. and end at 2:58 p.m.

The school day will consist of nine periods, yet most students will only need to be present for eight periods. For example, a student that begins first period will be dismissed after their eighth period, and a student that stays until ninth period, will start their school day at second period.

This flexible schedule allows students to receive extra assistance if necessary as well as allowing staff members time to collaborate with one another. In addition the schedule will provide relief from class conflicts that often arise in a more traditional schedule.
