The Fairview Park Youth Foundation donated a display case to Fairview High School to honor our alumni serving in various branches of the United States Armed Forces. The heading of the display case reads "Fairview American Warriors" and contains pictures and brief biographies of the young people serving our country.
In addition, the display case was presented in honor of longtime Fairview Park resident and military supporter, Harriet Beekman. She was present with members of the Fairview Park Youth Foundation and current military personnel for the unveiling and dedication on September 25.
The display case is housed just inside the main entrance of Fairview High School and will be maintained by members of the Fairview Key Club, a group of students dedicated to volunteerism and community outreach.
If any community members would like to provide a picture to include in the display case, please note the alumnus' name, graduating class and military branch on the picture and send the picture to Fairview High School in care of the Key Club.
