Cross-Country Skiing is a great winter activity and cross-country skiing enthusiasts can ski the hiking and bridle trails of the Metroparks.

However, skiers should exercise caution and must yield to hikers and horses.

Cross-country skiing is also permitted at Mastick Woods, Little Met, Big Met, Shawnee Hills, Seneca and Sleepy Hollow golf courses' fairways and rough areas when there is a four-inch snow base.

Trails are identified and groomed at both Big Met and Seneca and marked at Shawnee Hills and Sleepy Hollow.
